How the site is built

OP Ninja Statistics is a fan project, run on its own small server.

The pieces

• Database and pages: the site is built with Baserow (an open-source database with a page builder), hosted on the same server.
• The sync service: a small program that receives the snapshots, checks them, keeps the history and works out the numbers. It also draws the charts and the live parts of the pages: leaderboards, profiles, records, the race replay.
• Public data: the same numbers are open for anyone to use - see Public API and Make a Discord bot with the Public API.

Updates

The leaderboards and the "Last updated" time refresh on their own about once a minute, so you can leave a page open. Charts and records refresh when you open or reload a page.

Languages and time

The site comes in English, Português, Español, Filipino and Русский (switch in the header). Times are shown in the time zone and 12/24-hour clock you pick there. The wiki pages are written in English.

What your browser keeps

Signing in is optional: you only need it to comment on profiles, post on the forums, chat, or edit your own profile. It goes through Roblox's own page (Sign in with Roblox), so this site never sees your password. The site then keeps your Roblox user ID, username and display name, plus what you write there (comments, forum posts, chat messages, your bio and social names). You stay signed in on that browser for 30 days or until you sign out (a sign-in cookie only this site's server can read).

Everything else is saved in your own browser only: time zone, clock, language and light/dark mode (a small preferences cookie, so links stay clean), the username you search with Find me, your watchlist, goals and how you sort the boards. Clearing your browser's site data resets them.
